Cedar View Achieves Deficiency-Free Score in State Survey

Cedar View Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center announced that it has achieved a deficiency-free score in its most recent survey by the Department of Public Health (DPH), a rare occurrence for any skilled nursing facility.

DPH routinely conducts unannounced inspections – called surveys – of all licensed nursing homes in Massachusetts. This comprehensive, multi-day review examines all aspects of care such as staffing levels, quality of care, cleanliness, food, and residents’ rights. Only 8% of nursing homes in Massachusetts had zero deficiencies in 2025.

“Strong clinical direction and compassionate support are fundamental to the care we provide at Cedar View,” said Tara Libbey, administrator at Cedar View Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. “This survey result validates the work our staff have been doing to meet our highest expectations for patient safety, dignity, and respect.”

Cedar View is an established provider of post-acute care in the Merrimack Valley. The 100-bed skilled nursing facility, located at 480 Jackson St., features long-term care and a subacute rehabilitation unit that is dedicated to the post-hospitalization care of individuals, including individualized pulmonary and orthopedic rehabilitation programs.

Cedar View Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center provides Methuen and surrounding communities with the highest level of subacute short-term and comprehensive long-term care in a compassionate and caring environment. Cedar View is proudly serviced by Marquis Health Consulting Services, which provides administrative and consulting services to skilled nursing facilities and senior housing communities along the Eastern Seaboard.
